Welcome to the FCCLA USA online
State Officer Team Monthly Summary Report!
This online tool is used by state presidents to report the success, progress, and activities of the FCCLA state officer team each month. Ideally, all state officers submit a 5th of the Month Report to their state president and state adviser. These reports should then be summarized into one team report and input online by the 10th of each month. Once input online, the team summary will automatically be emailed to FCCLA national staff, national officers, and your state adviser.
ONLINE REPORTING STEPS
- The online report must be input at one time.
- The online report is not designed to be edited or saved and recalled at a later time. You must be ready to submit the report when you enter it.
- Your report should “summarize” state officer team activity. You should report the highlights of the month of leadership. Be specific. Make sure your report is measurable. Examples:
- Tell us how many letters were sent.
- Share how many emails and phone calls were made.
- Tell us the conference or workshop attendance.
- If you use the name of an important person, tell us their title and who they represent (instead of Mr. Jennings use ABC News Anchor Peter Jennings).
- Try not to generalize in your report. Examples:
- Many people thought the presenter was great.
- A lot of people attended the workshop.
- We were very busy. We did a lot of things.
- Remember you are writing to a national audience. These leaders may not be as familiar with the local events or names of what seems common to you. Clearly explain and enlighten the national leaders about your state!
- You will receive a copy of your summary report via email. We encourage you to send this report to your state officer team and their local chapter advisers to keep them informed of your state officer team's important leadership efforts.
- If you need help as you complete the summary, click on the blue “What is This?” link for further instruction.
- Submit these online reports each month! Your achievements combined with the efforts of all states is what makes FCCLA the Ultimate Leadership Experience!!
